Microneedling

Microneedling (skinpen) is one of the favorites here at Robertson Cosmetic Center! This MINIMAL downtime treatment address multiple concerns including acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, large pores, texture issues and fine lines and wrinkles.

You can expect to be red the day of your treatment, similar to a deep sunburn. By the following day you will notice that most of this has gone down and you will have a mild pink look that makeup or tinted sunscreen will typically cover. The treatment time includes prep time. Your Aesthetician will dermaplane and apply a topical numbing application which makes the treatment quite comfortable. If you choose to add PRP to your treatment (vampire facial), a nurse will also do a blood draw. Most patients notice that their skin feels great and has a youthful “glow” within a few days! Pigmentation may darken within the first few days, and then will gradually subside. The great news? Due to the collagen stimulation, these results will continue to build over time! In order to see the best results, we recommend a series of 3 treatment, spaced 4-6 weeks apart. After an initial series is completed, your Aesthetician will discuss maintenance treatments with you.

Hair Restoration

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is the latest treatment option for male and female patients experiencing hair loss and thinning. PRP (platelet rich plasma) is your very own blood that is drawn in office and spun down to separate out the platelets and plasma. Within this serum, is your very own growth factors that assist in tissue regeneration and healing. The platelets and growth factors in PRP can theoretically cause growth of the hair follicles by stimulating the stem cells and other cells in the micro-environment of the hair follicle. These special cells promote healing; accelerate the rate and degree of tissue healing and regeneration, responds to injury, and formation of new cellular growth.

Wrinkle Relaxers

Botox & Dysport are two treatments that work to reverse the visible signs of aging by relaxing the muscles beneath the skin’s surface. Wrinkles form over time as a results of repeated muscle contractions we’ve made over the years. It typically takes 7-14 days to see the full results. We encourage patients to repeat their treatment every three to four months to maintain the results of Botox & Dysport. Your nurse injector can help you decide which neuromodulator (Botox/Dysport) to choose.

Dermal Fillers

Our bodies produce less collagen every year after our twentieth birthday. Collagen is responsible for providing our skin’s underlying structural support. Loss of collagen, along with sun damage and other factors, leaves our face with areas of volume loss. This volume loss can be seen in sunken cheeks, a downturned smile, creases and lines, and an overall older appearance. When a filler is injected beneath a crease, such as a smile line, the filler simply returns volume to the area, pushing the skin back upwards and erasing the crease.
