Some acne scars require a minor procedure called a subscision. This is a minor procedure performed by Dr. Robertson. Ideal for rolling scars or certain “ice pick” scars, he releases the fibrous bands that are pulling the scars downward. This creates a more even texture to the skin.
How do you know if you need a subscision for your acne scar?
Because we offer a variety of different treatments for acne scarring, we recommend seeing you in office for an evaluation. There is no charge for this consultation. During this time you will meet with either Dr. Robertson or a skin care specialist and discuss all available options, pricing, expectations, and whether or not subcision is right for you.
